The Shannon Regional Fisheries Board is presently engaged with various agencies in supporting local outreach programmes. We are exploring ways of designing and delivering programmes on the environment, fisheries awareness, nature and recreational angling. Our aim is to target youth. ShRFB staff have a wide range of specialist skills which helps us in delivering these programmes. Presently we are involved in Limerick re-generation at Rossbrien and Ceimer Cen in Limerick and at Newport, Co Limerick. We are also involved with Clara Youth and Family Resource Centre and recently provided field trips, fly tying demonstration and a presentation on the Board's activities to local groups.
