Take a friend fishing on the River Owveg, Knocknagashel on Sunday April 26th, 2009

The Knocknagashel Anglers held the competition along with the Sh.R.F.B. The event was held at the Recreational and Disabled access area on the River Owveg which is a credit to the local club who have put in up to 300 mtrs of concrete paths, fishing stands and timber fencing as well as a fine bridge over the river. All went well despite the poor weather conditions as it never stopped raining. Nevertheless a good day was had by all contestants and we have definitely a few very promising young anglers hooked on fishing for life. Competition prize winners are.
